Attorney Jessica Sofio is a dedicated advocate who built her practice around one principle: everyone deserves someone who will fight for them at every stage, whether that means negotiating a resolution or taking a matter to trial. She adamantly seeks the best outcome possible, but most importantly justice itself.
Sofio Law pracitce areas span criminal and civil rights litigation to family law, representing individuals and families during some of their most consequential events. On the civil rights side, Attorney Sofio demands justice when government actors cause irreparable harm, navigating complex litigation against municipalities and the individuals who violated the rights of those they were sworn to protect. Her family law practice carries the same commitment, including removing false restraining orders, reinstating custody following documented abuse of discretion, and obtaining global settlements that preserved family homes in contested partition and estate matters. Excelling at finding creative solutions that move difficult negotiations forward, Attorney Sofio makes it her priority to spare her clients the burden of prolonged and costly litigation.
Prior to law, Attorney Sofio taught in special needs inclusion classrooms, working directly with children navigating IEPs and 504 plans. That experience gives her the unique firsthand perspective of what families face when the system fails them, and it is the same understanding that drives her representation today.
